Intellectual and Academic Freedom: Disciplined and honest intellectual exploration is the cornerstone of our academic tradition, evident in all research and scholarly activities.
Justice and Integrity: We are committed to social justice, equal opportunities, and cultural diversity. All associated with AISRP uphold the highest levels of honesty, respect, and professional ethics.
Leadership and Teamwork: We promote individual and institutional leadership that drives social development, believing deeply in professionalism, responsibility, creativity, and collaborative teamwork.
Transparency and Accountability: We are committed to presenting our contributions openly to society and scholars, ensuring accountability and adherence to our values in all scientific and academic endeavors.
Lifelong Learning: We support continuous intellectual growth and sustainable community well-being by fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
The Institute works in partnership with and under the supervision of the National Center for Research and Development (NCRD – Palestine) alongside other institutions operating within the same scope. This reflects AISRP’s vision for direct interaction with civil society sectors and institutions, both locally and internationally, to strengthen the relationship between the Arab scientific research community and broader society. Since 2015, AISRP has cultivated robust institutional knowledge and forged ambitious relationships with similar organizations and communities worldwide.
Scientific Journals:
AISRP is dedicated to providing and sustaining well-articulated, internationally classified scientific publishing channels for researchers. In cooperation with the National Research Center – Palestine, we publish an extensive list of prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals. These journals, all indexed and licensed by ISSN in Paris, have been serving the Arab scientific research sector since 2015. We currently publish over 12 such journals online, employing an Open Access model to maximize the reach and impact of the research we disseminate. This approach is a serious endeavor to create modern perceptions of scientific publishing, aiming for maximum feasibility and benefit from the fields of knowledge. Our journals represent a valuable and comprehensive edifice of knowledge, enriching the Arab library and serving as a reference for applying knowledge to serve societies.
Broader Knowledge Dissemination:
Beyond academic journals, AISRP assumes the responsibility of making other forms of knowledge accessible. Through the Institute’s blog, we offer a platform for free scientific, literary, and cultural publishing, welcoming contributions not necessarily affiliated with academic institutions, and engaging a wide audience of readers and writers.
Open Access (OA) is at the core of AISRP’s mission to advance global knowledge. We believe that unrestricted access to research is paramount for scientific progress.
Our Pledge: AISRP ensures that all original research articles are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication.
Sustainable Model: To support this Open Access model and cover operational costs (including peer review management, journal production, and online hosting), AISRP levies Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted manuscripts. Subscription fees are applicable only for printed versions of our journals, which are an optional offering.
Benefits of Open Access Publishing with AISRP:
Maximum Global Visibility: Your research gains unparalleled exposure to a worldwide audience.
Rigorous Quality Assurance: All submissions undergo a stringent peer-review process by experts in the field.
Efficient Publication: We strive for prompt publication timelines without compromising quality, offering excellent value.
Targeted and Multidisciplinary Reach: Your work reaches a dedicated yet diverse academic readership.

AISRP is actively pursuing membership with the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) and rigorously adheres to its Code of Conduct and Membership Criteria. We proudly support OASPA’s Statement on Open Access.
AISRP’s Position on the “Open Access Spectrum”
As a signatory of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, AISRP is transparent about its level of openness. Our practices align with the “Open Access Spectrum” (supported by SPARC and OASPA), which evaluates openness across six core components:
Reader Rights: AISRP provides full, unrestricted access for readers. All content is free to read online immediately upon publication.
Reuse Rights: Effective April 1st, 2013, AISRP grants broad reuse rights through a Creative Commons “Attribution” (CC BY) license as standard. For authors desiring more control, an alternative “Attribution-NonCommercial” (CC BY-NC) license is available upon request. Both licenses meet OASPA standards. The chosen CC license and copyright information (“Copyright © [Year] by author(s) and The Arab Institute of Science and Research Publishing Inc.”) are clearly indicated on each paper.
Copyrights: AISRP operates on a non-exclusive copyright agreement. Authors retain the copyright to their work without restrictions, positioning AISRP as a fully open publisher in this regard.
Author Posting Rights: Authors retain copyright for their manuscripts both before peer review (preprints) and after (postprints/accepted author manuscripts). Authors are free to deposit their preprints on any repository or website. Upon acceptance, authors grant AISRP a non-exclusive license to publish (see point 3). The final published version (Version of Record), formatted by AISRP, is available under the chosen Creative Commons license (see point 2). Authors can therefore also share or deposit the final published article on any repository or website, ensuring proper citation to the AISRP publication using the CrossRef DOI link (e.g., http://dx.doi.org/10.4236/YourPaperNumber), which provides a persistent link to the article.
Automatic Posting: Articles are published online immediately upon final acceptance and production, without embargo periods.
Machine Readability: AISRP is committed to maximizing the machine readability of its articles using current best practices. Metadata for all articles is supplied to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), ensuring OAI compliance for enhanced discoverability and interoperability.
AISRP upholds the highest standards of academic integrity through a rigorous peer-review process and strict ethical policies. We have zero tolerance for infringements of professional ethical codes, including plagiarism, data falsification or fabrication, and fraudulent authorship claims.
AISRP adheres to the Code of Conduct established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and diligently follows COPE’s Flowcharts for resolving suspected misconduct cases.
All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Governance and Editorial Board Structure
Appointments: All board members receive an official Appointment Letter, which they are expected to sign and return. The President of AISRP appoints the AISRP Advisory Board and the Editors-in-Chief for each journal. Editors-in-Chief, in turn, appoint other members of their respective Editorial Boards. Guest Editors for Special Issues are appointed via email. Appointment Letters, continuously refined since their introduction in 2010, clearly outline the rights, responsibilities, and evolving privileges of board members.
Issue Resolution: The Editorial Assistant for each journal supports the resolution of operational issues. Editors-in-Chief may direct complaints to the Director or President of AISRP. Editorial Board members are encouraged to first discuss concerns with their journal’s Editor-in-Chief before escalating to AISRP’s Director if necessary.
Ensuring Longevity: Our Preservation and Archiving Strategy
The long-term availability of published research is crucial for both authors and readers. AISRP employs a multi-faceted preservation strategy:
Short to Medium-Term Preservation (In-House):
Backup: Real-time data backup across multiple secure locations.
Access System Redundancy: Content is accessible via multiple servers to ensure high availability and minimal service interruption.
Long-Term Preservation (Third-Party Archiving):
To safeguard against unforeseen circumstances (e.g., publisher discontinuation, catastrophic failure), AISRP has partnered with Portico to archive all journal articles.
Dark Archive: Portico maintains a “dark archive” for AISRP content. This archive is not publicly accessible unless a “trigger event” occurs, such as:
AISRP ceases operations.
A specific journal title is no longer offered by AISRP.
Back issues become inaccessible for over 90 days.
Catastrophic failure prevents online access for over 90 days.
Post-Trigger Access: If a trigger event occurs, the content becomes openly accessible on Portico’s site, and existing DOIs will resolve to the Portico-hosted version.
Content Migration: Portico converts source files to a stable archival format, ensuring future compatibility and accessibility regardless of technological changes.
Certified Trustworthiness: The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) audited Portico in 2009, certifying it as a trustworthy digital repository.
This robust strategy ensures that authors’ contributions are preserved for future generations, and readers can rely on persistent access to valuable research.
AISRP is dedicated to maintaining the integrity and completeness of the scholarly record. While published articles generally remain unchanged, circumstances involving misconduct or significant error may necessitate corrections. AISRP follows COPE’s Retraction Guidelines and established scholarly principles to address such issues through:
Expression of Concern
Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum)
Retraction
Removal (in very rare cases)
The Editor of the respective journal is responsible for determining the appropriate action. Further details are available in our Information for Authors.

Submission: Complaints must be submitted to submit@ajsrp.com. Complainants must provide their identity and a valid contact email address. Complaints should be specific and include any available objective evidence.
Initial Handling: Upon receipt, AISRP will record and acknowledge the complaint. Complaints not meeting the submission criteria (e.g., anonymous, lacking specifics) may be dismissed.
Investigation (Journal-Specific): Accepted complaints pertaining to a specific journal are forwarded to the relevant Editorial Office. The Editorial Assistant will investigate, liaising with AISRP’s Director, the Editor-in-Chief, and/or Editorial Board members as needed. The complainant will be kept informed of progress.
Decision and Appeal: The complainant will be notified of the decision by the Editorial Assistant and given an opportunity to appeal. New evidence presented during an appeal will be considered, and the case reassessed by AISRP’s Director, the Editor-in-Chief, or an Editorial Board member. The decision on appeal is final.
General Complaints: Non-journal-specific complaints deemed acceptable will be forwarded to the Assistant of AISRP’s Director and follow a similar procedure.
In line with Principle 13 of the “Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing,” AISRP declares its advertising policy. Generally, AISRP does not feature third-party advertisements on its website or journal pages, with one specific area:
“Sponsors, Associates, and Links”: A designated section in the lower right corner of each AISRP journal webpage may feature links, often to conferences (many organized by AISRP) or associated organizations.
No Charge for Associates: Journal associates are not charged for logo/link placement.
Reciprocity Expected: AISRP expects reciprocal linking from these organizations to demonstrate collaborative, mutual agreements rather than unilateral endorsement.
Static Content: These entries are fixed and not influenced by reader behavior or tracking.
Approval Process: Entries are established through agreement between senior publishing team members and the journal’s Editor-in-Chief (or a designated Editorial Board member).
